Gunmen Attack Ebonyi Community, Burn Vehicles, Others

Simon Ekpa, the self-declared prime minister of the Biafra Government in Exile, was born and raised in Ezzangbo, a community in Ebonyi State. On Monday, hoodlums suspected of executing the sit-at-home order set fire to three cars, five motorcycles, and other valuables.

It was said that the thugs, who operated in a Sienna bus and numbered about 8, chased away market vendors and small-time sellers who had set up shop early in the day while yelling, “No more markets in Igbo land.”

A video, which trended on social media a few hours before our Correspondent arrived at the scene on Monday, showed vehicles, motorcycles, stores and other valuable items going up in flames, and residents scampering for safety.
