Tension As Large Number Of NLC Members Storm National Assembly

Tension increased as demonstrators who are members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) stormed the National Assembly Complex in Abuja in large numbers.

They converged there to express discontent over economic hardship and the escalating cost of living.

Brandishing various placards, the protesters voiced grievances regarding the economic conditions prevailing in the nation.

This demonstration follows the announcement of a two-day protest organized by labor unions nationwide.

At the entrance of the White House, they chant “hunger dey,” conveying the stark reality of prevailing hunger and hardship.
