THE Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has sealed 4U Supermarket in Abuja.
It was sealed today due to unfair actions by its management. FCCPC authorities took the step while conducting an enforcement operation in portions of the nation’s capital.
Officials from the FCCPC visited many stores in Abuja to launch a campaign to enforce price display and quantity compliance.
The decision is a direct response to consumer concerns about growing commodity prices, which contradict the naira’s recent appreciation versus foreign currencies.
The Commission stated that price disparities continue to be a significant issue.
