Archbishop Uka Uka Osim of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star; his wife, Anne Osim; and son, Roland Uka Osim, have been kidnapped.

They and three other clergymen of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star were abducted in Abia State on May 1, 2024.

They were travelling to Awka, the Anambra State capital, on evangelical duties when armed men accosted them.

The other priests kidnapped have been identified as Azuka Ochu, Moses Okafor and Anderson Akwazie.

Their abduction was confirmed by the administrator of the spiritual organisation in Abia State, Bishop Denis Onuoha.

Onuoha said four days later, the abductors have not reached out to anybody.
