Nnenna Nwannekanma for burial tomorrow
The death has occurred of Ms Mercy Udochi Nnenna Nwannekanma.
She passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024, after a brief sickness, barely 34 days to her 60th birthday.
She will be buried tomorrow, Saturday, May 13, after a funeral service by Winners Chapel at the late Nwannekanma Sampson Ekennaya’s compound.
The event, scheduled for 10:00 a. m., will be held at Akaelu Lodu Imenyi in Bende Local Council of Abia State.
Ms Nwannekanma started her primary education at Lodu Community Primary School and thereafter proceeded to Item High School for her secondary education, all in Bende Local Council of Abia State .
She later attended College of Education in Gidan Waya, Kafanchan, Kaduna State, for her Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE).
She worked at Aeronautical Industrial and Project Management Company (AIEP) in Kaduna Airport for three years as a receptionist and later taught at Holy Child Nursing and Primary School in Kurmi/Mashi, Kaduna State.
The deceased, fondly called Nelly, was a good and devoted Christian, who never missed services.
She was very kind and friendly, and always prayed for people.
She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer, sisters and brothers, including Bertram Nwannekanma of The Guardian.
