Philanthropist saves Kwara NYSC orientation camp from erosion

National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has lauded efforts of a philanthropist, Dr. Kamoru Yusuf, on grading the entrance pathway to the Kwara orientation camp and extension of the parade ground in the camp.

Speaking with the Nigerian Tribune at the permanent orientation camp of the scheme at Yikpata, Edu local government area of the state, the coordinator of the NYSC in Kwara state, Mr. Onifade Olaoluwa, said that the entrance and parade ground were already washed away by erosion until the intervention.

The NYSC coordinator, who commended Dr. Yusuf, the group managing director and CEO of KAM HOLDING and the management of the business conglomerate for the continued support to the scheme, described the gesture as soothing.

Mr Onifade described the business tycoon, Dr. Kamoru as an altruist, philanthropist, friendly, and social elite who is always responsive.

He added that his compassionate disposition toward the scheme is top-notch and, therefore, admonished other stakeholders in the state to emulate the gesture by making their presence felt in the camp to make the camp more conducive for corps members and other camp participants.
