Political Parties Coalition Will Unseat Adeleke In 2026 – Odeyemi

Ahead of the Osun State gubernatorial election, a coalition of political parties in the state has said they are prepared to unseat Governor Ademola Adeleke in 2026.

The group has alleged that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)-led government in the state, is progressively losing touch with the people and reality.

Speaking in a statement issued on Tuesday, Tosin Odeyemi, Chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in the State who spoke on behalf of the coalition said the parties’ cooperation has become imperative.

Odeyemi added that the state has to be saved immediately from the current situation of aimless government.

In his words, “Now, it has become imperative for us, like-minded political parties in the state, to rise to the occasion and save the state from more agony. We are having deliberation. Talks are progressing well and the political parties involved are showing commitment to the project.

“They are all ready to work together to unseat Adeleke, come 2026. Osun should expect a strong coalition that would work together and end the PDP administration in 2026.

“Osun people deserve better. We cannot continue to fold our hands and watch our common heritage go down the drain. The government of the day is disappointing the Osun people.”
