Great news for fans of martial arts and sports combat anime as Netflix has announced a new unprecedented crossover movie that will pit two titans of the genre – Baki Hanma and Kengan Ashura – against each other in what’s sure to be one of the most explosive face-offs in bare-knuckle brawling.
As revealed by @NetflixAnime, the movie Baki Hanma VS Kengan Ashura will debut on the streaming platform on June 6, 2024. Two underground martial arts organizations will clash to determine “the strongest”, with three matches between some of the top fighters in both franchises shown in the trailer.
The series will not just focus on Baki and Kengan but also include characters from both worlds. Accordingly, the undercard includes a fight between Raian Kure and Jack Hammer, as well as Saw Paing and Kaoru Hanayama. More are sure to come as the series progresses.
