VIDEO: NDLEA seizes 5,000kg of skunk concealed in gas tanker

The operatives of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have intercepted nearly 5,000 kilograms of skunk concealed in a gas tanker and hidden within false bottoms in suitcases.

The seizure, a significant blow to drug trafficking operations, underscores the agency’s ongoing efforts to combat the illicit drug trade in the country.

The discovery was made during a routine inspection conducted by NDLEA officers, who were astounded by the ingenuity of drug traffickers in their methods of concealment.

According to the NDLEA’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi while revealing this in a X post on Sunday, the skunk, a highly potent form of cannabis, was carefully hidden within the compartments of a gas tanker, as well as concealed within false bottoms of suitcases.

He posted, “The ingenuity of drug traffickers in their modes of concealment will wow you but @ndlea_nigeria is always steps ahead of them as seen in these videos showing the moment officers discovered almost 5,000kg skunk concealed in gas tanker and false bottoms in suitcases to hide Loud”.
