Brighton hire Hurzeler, EPL’s youngest head coach ever

The Seagulls appointed the youngest manager ever.

USA-born Fabian Hürzeler has become the youngest permanent manager in the EPL history with his hiring at the Seagulls.

Fabian (31) joins from the German team St. Pauli, whom he guided to the Bundesliga after a 13-year absence this campaign.

Hürzeler has inked a 3-year deal with Brighton and will start guiding the Premier League team as soon as receives a work permit.

“From the beginning of the process to hire our new boss, Hürzeler was always a standout person and 1 who had caught our attention with his phenomenal time at St. Pauli over the past year and a half,” the Seagulls chairman Tony Bloom revealed.

The Premier League side added that the new boss will be officially unveiled at a news conference on July 2nd.

Several footballers on the Seagulls’ team will be older than their new manager. James Milner, 38, Danny Welbeck, 33, Pascal Gross, 33, and Lewis Dunk, 32 are all older than the incoming head coach.
