Hajj: Zamfara speaker hails NAHCON, state board on ‘perfect plans’

Speaker of the Zamfara state House of Assembly, Bi’yaminu Ismail Moriki, has commended the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and Zamfara state Pilgrims Welfare Board for adequate arrangements made for pilgrims during the hajj exercise.

The speaker made the commendation at a press briefing with the journalists in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, Tuesday.

He said as one of the leaders of Zamfara pilgrims, they were satisfied with the arrangements made by both NAHCON and state Pilgrims Welfare Board in the areas of health, transformation, accommodation, feeding and security.

He advised officials of the State Pilgrims Welfare Agency to be alive  to their responsibilities in order to ensure successful hajj exercise.

He urged the state pilgrims to be good ambassadors and abide by rules and regulations of Saudi Arabia authorities, and urged them to avoid anything that can tarnish their image, state and Nigeria in general.

He commended the state governor, Dauda Lawa, for providing adequate support for the State Pilgrims Welfare Agency  to ensure  a successful hajj exercise.
