Kebbi APC lauds governor for transforming hajj operations

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi state has commended Governor Nasir Idris and the State Pilgrims Welfare Board for their efforts in transforming gajj operations in the state

The chairman of the party, Alhaji Abubakar Kana-Zuru, made the commendation while reacting to new development in the 2024 hajj operation.

He stated that this year’s hajj exercise came with new innovation in terms of logistics, accommodation, feeding and of course the entire welfare of pilgrims in the Holy Land.

Kana-Zuru said: “Right from the airport, buses were stationed to orderly convey pilgrims to their respective hotels with ease and joy, apart from that, the proximity of hotel accommodation to the Prophet’s Mosque was marvelous, it was just a stone throw.

“When we came to Makkah too, the accommodation was not far from the Masjid Al-Haram, because it is within Misfala, it is a trekkable distance from the mosque.

“Feeding is another area that we must appreciate His Excellency, because pilgrims are very happy because they are being served delicious food with chicken, fish and drinks.”

He described the efforts of the governor as highly commendable and observed that the governor made the right choice of a humble and trusted person, Alhaji Faruku Aliyu-Enabo, who is leading the board to an enviable position.
