As the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) strike persists, the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) has assured airline operators and general public that contingency arrangements have been put in place for the processing of flight operations in the five major airports in Nigeria which include Lagos, Kano, Port Harcourt, Abuja and Enugu.

Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Abdulahi Musa, in a press statement assured the general public and airline operators that the ongoing strike by the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has not in any way affected the operations of the agency.

He said Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) will continue to provide its services to airline operators in spite of the ongoing strike action, in keeping with the agency’s mandate to provide uninterrupted, safe, efficient, and economic air navigation services in the country.
