Popular Nollywood veteran actor is dead

Veteran Nollywood actor, Dayo Adewunmi, popularly known as Sule Suebebe has died at an undisclosed hospital this morning

Popular Ibadan-based cleric, Pastor Ademola Amusan, also known as Agbala Gabriel, who had been caring for the actor in recent months announced the news of his death this morning.

Announcing Suebebe’s death, Agbala Gabriel wrote on his Facebook page, “It’s a pity, Baba Suebebe died at the hospital this morning. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”

Recall, that a year ago, the ailing actor appealed to Nigerians for forgiveness over his reckless lifestyle when he was younger and sought financial assistance on social media to foot his medical bills.

Following that, some of his colleagues reportedly took him to a hospital where he was set to undergo surgey for undisclosed illness.

Efforts seeking supports for the actor were led and coordinated by Pastor Gabriel Ademola Amusan of Agbala Gabriel Apostolic Church.

While seeking assistance from the public, the actor said he has been in the Yoruba movie industry for decades without any achievement. He noted that he had no house or car, reiterating that he lived a life of poverty.

He came out saying he could no longer pretend anymore.

He said, “i dont want to pretend anymore i dont want to die in poverty.”
