3, 000 victims of rape, GBV get INCRESE assistance 

The executive director of International Centre for Sexual Reproductive Rights (INCRESE), a non-governmental organisation, Cesnabmihilo Dorothy Nuhu-Aken’Ova has stated that the organisation has assisted  over 3,000 victims of rape cases and other gender based violence (GBV) from inception in 2000.

The executive director stated this Wednesday in an interview with Blueprint in Minna. 

She said, “INCRESE has prioritised helping the marginalised and disadvantaged group of people through promotion of social justice, equity, and inclusiveness.

“We have also contributed to the awareness campaign on saving lives through early detection of cancer in women.”

Nuhu Aken’Ova added that the organisation has received international recognition having been listed among the top three best projects in the world working to keep girls in school.

“INCRESE has been listed as number three in world that is working to keep children school, it has also been working to reduce prevalence of HIV/AIDS and protection of human right,” she said.
