Bauchi gov Bala pledges collaboration with security agencies to improve security

The Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed, has reiterated the commitment of his administration to collaborate with security agencies operating in the state to enhance the security architecture of the state.

To this end, the governor decried criminal activities of political thugs popularly known as Sara-Suka, calling on them to surrender willingly, offering support for those who wished to be reformed.

Governor Mohammed stated this while presiding over the State Executive Council (SEC) meeting at the Council Chambers at the Government House, Bauchi.

He said his administration would not rest in maintaining the peace in the state, stressing that it remained committed to tackling offenders who jeopardised the harmony and welfare of the state and its people.

Governor Bala called on members of the State Executive Council (SEC) to deepen good governance and accountability by acknowledging the importance of transparency and responsible leadership in the fight against crimes and illicit activities.
