Mr Ebireri said amongst the forty-nine staff members for the promotion interview, seven are on level 16, aiming to be promoted to level 17, which is the peak of their career in service.

He disclosed that it was the first such a number to level 17, making the promotion exercise unique and essential to the Commission.

Besides promoting staff, which is one of the core mandates of the Commission, Mr Ebireri acknowledged the progress made in the recruitment, training and discipline of staff.

The Commission’s Chairman paid glowing tributes to the Speaker of the State Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor, for his massive support and approvals.

Ebireri said the Commission is determined to motivate staff to ensure that the Delta State House of Assembly is positioned to make people-oriented laws instrumental to good governance, development and growth in the state.

He encouraged all staff to be responsible, productive, and role models in society.

Some staff who spoke commended the State Governor and the Speaker for the prompt promotion exercise, describing it as a good development.

They also thanked the Acting Chairman of the Commission, Mr Sunday Ebirere and other board members for a smooth process and encouragement.

They said they are motivated to render quality service in the legislature.
