Don’t protest, ambassador urges N/east youth

The North East Youth Ambassador, Comrade Haruna Usman Muhammed, Thursday pleaded with Nigerian youth to suspend their plans for the peaceful protest scheduled for next week across the country.

In a press release issued to journalists in Bauchi, Ambassador Usman appealed to all the youth in the North- east sub region to halt their plans for the protest as the region was renowned for respect to leaders and elders.

He said the planned protest appears to be an orchestrated effort by those who do not support the government of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, aiming to distract the government from the remarkable development work it has already accomplished.

“This government has achieved significant progress, and it is crucial that we support its efforts rather than hinder them” he stated.
