An international organisation known for its humanitarian services supported by Education Can’t Wait (ECW) and its other partners such as UNICEF and Norwogian Refugees Council, weekend, donated dignity kits to Adamawa State Government (ADSG) to boost girl- child education.
Presenting the dignity kits to Adamawa state government through the Commissioner of Education, Dr. Garba Umar Pella in Yola, head of education, Ali Zulfiquar said the gesture would go a long way to support and enhance girl-child education in the state.
He noted that the organisation has been supporting and implementing so many projects in health, education, nutritional and humanitarian sectors across various communities to improve the living condition of the people in Adamawa and other parts of the country.
He said the organisation would bring and implement more projects in the state in core areas of their mandate for the benefits of the state thereby soliciting for more support and cooperation from the state government for the success of the projects.
Responding on behalf of the state government, Adamawa state Commissioner for Education, Dr. Garba Umar Pella, thanked the organisation for their support and partnership which continued to add value to the socio- economic live of the people in Adamawa state.
He reiterated the commitment of the administration to sustain partnership with the organisation and other development partners in the state, to make this collaborations more beneficial, not only to the people of the state, but also all the partners in these collaborations.
