According to the charge sheet (No. K/143c/24), the state government accuses Ganduje and Lawan of violating Sections 308, 309, 97, and 315 of the penal code. The government intends to present four witnesses in court, but no arraignment date has been set yet.

This development marks a new twist in the legal battle between Ganduje and the state government.

The former governor has been embroiled in several legal cases with the New Nigerian Peopleโ€™s Party-led state government since leaving office.
