Commuters and passersby were thrown into confusion as the intense heat could be felt up to a kilometre away from the station.

Emergency responders and firefighters quickly arrived at the scene, battling the blaze while security personnel cordoned off the area, restricting traffic to the speed lane of the 10-lane expressway.

At approximately 5:45 pm, a firefighting truck from the Federal Fire Service, having exhausted its water supply, was seen leaving to refill.

Fortunately, as of the time of this report, no lives were lost and no injuries were sustained.
