Stakeholders in different sectors of the economy have advised entrepreneurs and captains of industries to look into harnessing business opportunities within Africa and maximizing them for the overall development of the continent.
Speaking Friday in Abuja, during the Marketplace Stakeholders Africa conference, the host, Mr. Manasseh Dogon, said the conference will also serve as a blueprint for other African countries to key in, saying the conference will be held quarterly in different African countries.
He said: โThe primary purpose of Marketplace Stakeholders Africa is to be able to bring captains of industries together under one atmosphere to be able to educate them on the next blueprint that is about to happen in Africa. Through production intelligence, we discovered that so many things have been left uncoordinated in Africa. This conference is an avenue for captains of industry to see the perspectives, the opportunities that are within the African soil and how to maximize them.
โOvercoming barriers in business has to do with self-management. We always try to throw expectations to leaders. Inasmuch as we expect leaders to do the right things, we should also do our part as businessmen and individuals. We must understand and look at the world from a global scale. The world is bigger than where you are. We will be holding this conference on a quarterly basis and spread across other African countries like Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa. What we are trying to do here will serve as a blueprint to other African countries as we intend to maximize potentials.โ
He added: โMarketplace Stakeholders Africa is a revolutionary conference organised by Maime Innovation Foundation, In collaboration with The Metropolitan Church to bring together captains of industries, marketplace leaders, creatives, market experts, innovators, business men and women in different sectors across African countries.
โThe event will serve as a forum for open dialogue with industry stakeholders and the press in an open intelligent conversation to identify prevalent problems related to their respective industry and proffer contemporary solutions to each of the identified industrial problems by making these respective industries work through production intelligence.
โThe concept of production intelligence is basically the instinctual ability to use oneโs knowledge, past experience, information, understanding, insight, reasoning or set of skills to improve the African econorny by intelligentiy inventing a brand, software, machine, robot artificial intelligence, product, or produce a service that can poker solution to specific real life problem in Africaorific problem in a-community, organisation or the marketplace.

Also speaking, the CEO of Enived Travels Limited, Mr Ehiogie Osaigbovo, advised Nigerians to learn skills that will make them employable, instead of complaining of unemployment.
