His love of reading always crept into the show through dialogue or just a shot of him in the background during a scene. Producers crafted a framing device that suited his introverted and introspective personality.

Lestat’s music appears to borrow heavily from 1970s rock and contemporary pop. He has lived for three centuries and is constantly adapting to the music of the time. The music will tell a story but will also be as over the top as possible. It will also relate back to how he feels about everything Louis has said about him. It will likely even speak to their fractured but healing relationship. AMC’s Interview with the Vampire has always provided a fresh take on Anne Rice’s iconic novel.
