“All she got from me was pain and tears” – Singer Solidstar stirs mix reactions as he praises his girlfriend of 10 years

Nigerian singer, Joshua Iniyezo better known by his stage name, Solidstar has poured praises on his girlfriend of over 10 years.

Taking to his Instagram page to share photos of his partner, he praised her for being loyal to him. Solidstar noted how for over 10 years, all his woman got from him was pain, tears and heart breaks. Despite his maltreatment on her, she never gave up on him.

His statement didn’t sit right with many who slammed him.

In 2019, Solidstar shared a post where he recounted how he had overdosed on drugs, which led him to bleeding. The Afropop artiste also apologized to whoever might have been hurt due to the incident.

In 2022, Solidstar narrated how he nearly died because of drug abuse and addiction.

Last year, the singer topped headlines after his younger brother, Joseph Iniyezo, had publicly cried out for help over him, as he revealed he was sick and battling mental health. In a disturbing video posted on the singer’s official Instagram page, Joseph disclosed the state of Solidstar, as he noted how the singer had been critically sick for a while, and how he had been battling mental illness, hence his withdrawal from the spotlight.

Early this year, Solidstar opened up on his battle with drug abuse, as he recounted how he got into the world of hard substances in 2021.

Sharing his sad story, he revealed that after using the hard substance, he felt like a King with a voice telling him not to pay for things. To make it worse, he once trekked from Awoyaya, a part of Lagos mainland to the Or!ental Hotel on the Island.
