Arabic board presents gifts to best students at New Bra-Bra mega school Yobe

Yobe state Arabic and Islamic Education Board has Friday presented gifts to students of New Bra-Bra Mega school, Damaturu.

The recipients were nursery one 1st position Fatima Muhammad Mamman received N50,000,2nd position, Abubakar Muhammad Lawan received N 30,000, and Aisha Gidado 3rd position received N20,000 cash gifts respectively.

Others are overalls best in Basic Science,Yusuf Gabai N10,000, Arabic Nishad kashida group, received N100,000 cash gift, Nishad Akan Mutuwa received N50,000 cash gift and press club also received N20,000 cash gift respectively.

Speaking shortly after presenting the cash gift to the students, the Executive Secretary of the board, Umar Abubakar, he made the pledge during the school’s maiden speech and prizes giving day which took place at the school premises in Damaturu.

“We do this to encourage the students to do more and to complement the effort of Yobe state governor Mai Mala Buni on education sector in the state,” he said.

On their part, the teachers appreciated the Arabic board Secretary and assured him that they continue to impact sound moral knowledge into the student at all the time.
