Doguwa dares fellow Kano lawmaker Abdulmumuni over exposure threat 

The raging war of words between two members of the House of Representatives from Kano state,  Alhassan Ado-Doguwa, and Abdulmumin Jibrin, has not ceased, as the former has said he is ready and expecting the can of worms the latter claimed to have against him.

Jibrin in his latest move against Doguwa, who he said had the penchant for attacks against Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, said Doguwa would be expelled from the All Progressives Congress (APC), if he released the bombshell against him.

“I advise Alhassan to respect his age. He should restrict his fights, insults and reckless statements within his party where he has fought and is still fighting everyone. The fact is, Alhassan will be summarily expelled from his party if some of the leaders, especially those in Abuja he is trying to impress, get to know some of his utterances in private. Let’s keep a date with history,” Jibrin said in a statement signed by Sani Ibrahim Paki, his media aide.

But Doguwa, who chairs the House of Representatives Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream) in his reaction dared Jibrin to “drop the so-called bombshell,” saying he remains a bonafide, committed and founding member of the APC, the largest political party in Africa.

“I challenge Jibrin to drop any bombshell he has against me. I dare him not to spear or keep secret whatever he knows about my political conviction and or commitment to my party, the APC. I remain a loyal and sincere member of the ruling APC.

“I also believe and have faithful confidence in the leadership of our party. I admire and believe in the governmental policies and programs of our party. I am not a coward politician and cannot be intimidated or blackmailed by sweeping accusations or phantom threats,” he said.
