#EndBadGovernance:  Osun protesters observe Juma’at service on the road  

As the protest against bad governance entered day two in Osun state, protesters converged on Olaiya junction on Friday and observed the two-rakat obligatory Juma’at service on the road.

They diverted vehicles from the road while others continued with the anti-government songs.

The protesters had since morning barricaded the popular Olaiya junction where they usually held processions.

When it was around 1:00pm, one of the protesters, who wore turbans, led them in the two rakkats obligatory Juma’at prayers.

They carried placards of various inscriptions among which is the call for the prosecution of subsidy thieves. 

The protesters warned hoodlums with bad intentions to stay away as they vowed to deal with “whoever tries to invade people’s property” by themselves. 

They were heavily monitored by security operatives including policemen and operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

They chanted anti-government slogans.
