Foluke Daramola grieves as ailing colleague Yusuf Olorungbebe dies
Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola Salako is heartbroken as she loses her colleague and production manager, Yusuf Olorungbebe.
Kemi Filani reported that days back, Foluke had passionately appealed to Nigerians over Yusuf. The movie star shared a video of the ailing actor on his hospital bed, as she revealed that the actor was on life support. Dropping his account number, she appealed to Nigerians to donate to help save his life as she stated that no amount was too small for him to live.
Minutes ago, Foluke took to her Instagram page to announce the actor’s demise. She appreciated the public’s support as she stated that the actor had submitted to God’s will.
“WE LOST YUSUF OLORUNGBEBE
We submit to God’s Will
Thank You Everyone!”.
Over the years, Foluke Daramola has become a mouthpiece for ailing veterans, as she loves to offer support to ailing veterans. Months back, Daramola had cried out for help over veteran actress, Obiqgheli Molobe’s ailing health.
Taking to her Instagram live video, Foluke urged the public to offer financial assistance to Obiqgheli and her children as the actress was down with a partial stroke. She revealed that the veteran is also a diabetes patient and has High Blood Pressure.
In December of last year, following the death of veteran Dejumo Lewis, Foluke had written an open letter to President Tinubu and the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo Olu, on the poor state of Nollywood actors. She noted how many veteran actors suffer, especially health-wise, and have no help. Foluke urged the president to offer a better arrangement for the veterans and to set up a trust fund for the veterans and provide little things for them that they would appreciate for the rest of their lives.
