AC Milan is close to securing the signing of Monaco’s midfielder Youssouf Fofana, following an increased offer from the Rossoneri, according to recent reports.
The 25-year-old French international, who has attracted interest from top European clubs like Manchester United, West Ham, and Atletico Madrid, is in the final year of his contract. This has led Milan to pursue a cut-price deal, initially aiming for around €20 million.

However, with a potential bidding war emerging among Europe’s elite, Monaco set their asking price at approximately €35 million. In response, Milan has made an improved offer of €20 million plus an additional €5 million in bonuses, as reported by Sky Sport Italia.
Monaco is now considering the proposal, and if it meets their expectations, Fofana could be set to join Milan. Reports from TMW suggest that the Rossoneri hope to finalize the deal by the start of next week, while La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Fofana is eager to make the move to Milan.
