Here is everything you need to know about the cast and characters featured in Star Wars’ upcoming Disney+ show, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. The show will perfectly slot in with other recent Star Wars TV shows, as it takes place in the New Republic Era, much like The Mandalorian and Ahsoka. While Skeleton Crew‘s exact placement on the Star Wars timeline hasn’t been revealed, there are clues that it takes place after The Mandalorian season 3.

Skeleton Crew‘s executive producers include Jon Watts, the director of the three MCU Spider-Man movies. The story will predominantly follow a group of small children on their journey across the galaxy as they are essentially lost in space. The Skeleton Crew trailer shows these children living on an Earth-like planet, making it the first time audiences get to see suburban life in Star Wars. Jude Law Is Jod Na Nawood

Date of Birth: December 29, 1972

Born in London, England, Jude Law began his career on the stage after dropping out of school at the age of 17. Since then, Law has gone on to act in many movies and has even earned himself multiple Oscar, Golden Globe, and BAFTA nominations, winning the BAFTA for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in 1999 for his role in The Talented Mr. Ripley. Most recently, Law may best be known for portraying a young Albus Dumbledore in the Fantastic Beasts movies.

Character: Jude Law will be portraying the Force-sensitive Jod Na Nawood. While initially thought to be a Jedi, Na Nawood may be simply a Force user, or something else entirely. As seen in recent Star Wars titles like Ahsoka, simply being Force-sensitive does not make someone a Jedi. In Skeleton Crew’s trailer, Jod Na Nawood can be seen using the Force to levitate a key from a hook. It seems likely that Jod Na Nawood will eventually look out for these children while they are away from their homeworld.

Ryan Kiera Armstrong Is Fern

Date of Birth: March 10, 2010

At just 14 years old, Ryan Kiera Armstrong already has an impressive acting resume. The daughter of actor Dean Armstrong, Ryan Kiera Armstrong may be best known for portraying Alma Gardner in American Horror Story: Red Tide. Armstrong has also had roles in Anne With an E, Black Widow, and Firestarter.

Character: Ryan Kiera Armstrong will be portraying one of the main children Skeleton Crew will focus on, Fern. Not much is known about Fern, though she is a human. In the Skeleton Crew trailer, Fern can be seen riding a speeder bike with KB, and in many shots with the other children. As the release date for SkeletonCrew comes closer, more details will likely be revealed.

Kyriana Kratter Is KB

Date of Birth: April 23, 2013

Kyrianna Kratter is a relative newcomer to Hollywood and has been featured in multiple shorts since 2018. Her most notable role comes from the Disney Channel TV series Bunk’d, where she played Nadine for 5 episodes. More recently, Kratter appeared in one episode of the CBS comedy The United States of Al.

Character: KB is another one of the four children that will be traveling in a galaxy far, far away, though little else is known about her character. KB can be seen in the Skeleton Crew trailer with long white hair, and a retractable eyepiece. She seems to have an otherwise calm demeanor about her.

Robert Timothy Smith Is Neel

Date of Birth: Not Available

Robert Timothy Smith is just starting his acting career, but has already made a splash by landing some cool roles. Smith appeared in one episode of Good Girls where he portrayed Hayden. While some of his projects haven’t come out yet, audiences can expect to see Smith portray Liam Turner in the upcoming comedy Dear Santa.

Character: Like many characters from Skeleton Crew, there are few details known about Neel. However, when the first images of Skeleton Crew were released in early August, the internet was immediately taken by Neel, as the blue elephant-like alien is adorable. It’s believed that Neel is an Ortolan, the same species as Max Reebo from Return of the Jedi, though that hasn’t been officially confirmed.

Ravi Cabot-Conyers is Wim

Date of Birth: February 10, 2011

Despite his young age, Ravi Cabot-Conyers has already been featured in beloved stories. Most notably, Cabot-Conyers voiced Antonio Madrigal in the hit Disney animated film Encanto. His mother, Christina Cabot, is an actor and acting coach, best known for portraying Major Kathleen Spar in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. Ravi Cabot-Conyers has other live-action roles to add to his already impressive filmography.

Character: In Skeleton Crew, Ravi Cabot-Conyers will be portraying the fourth and final member of the group of children, Wim. Wim was most heavily featured in Skeleton Crew’s trailer and seemingly narrates most of it. Wim is also a human, along with Fern.

Marti Matulis Is Vane

Date of Birth: July 4, 1970

Marti Matulis has been steadily acting in sci-fi and fantasy titles for the last 25 years. The actor from Orange, California has played multiple roles in multiple television series, including Evil, Teen Wolf, and Star Trek: Picard. He’s the only member of the Skeleton Crew cast who was previously in another Star Wars title, as Matulis appeared in The Mandalorian season 3.

Character: Vane was a part of Pirate King Gorian Shard’s crew and was one of the few pilots who managed to escape Din Djarin and the other Mandalorians’ attack when they went to rescue Nevarro in The Mandalorian season 3. Vane went off into hyperspace before he could be apprehended or have his ship shot down, and it’s not clear where he went. However, it has been confirmed that Marti Matulis will be returning to play Vane in Skeleton Crew, though it’s unclear how big of a role he will have.

Nick Frost joins the cast of Skeleton Crew, voicing the droid SM-33. Other actors like Kerry Condon and Tunde Adebimpe are also in the cast, but their character names have not yet been revealed. Condon’s character even appeared in the Skeleton Crew trailer, where she looks to be proctoring an exam, though she will likely have a larger role in the show.
