Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson Okojie was one of the few celebrities who took time out of her busy schedule to shower her colleague, Funke Akindele, with praises as she marked her 47th birthday on Saturday.
Taking to her Instagram page to share a video of the celebrant, she expressed how proud she was of her and all she has achieved. Praying for her, she affirmed her love.
“Happy Birthday Box Office Queen. We are so proud of all you have achieved. Many more wins we pray you…Love you today and always….. Everybody loves Jenifa. @funkejenifaakindele”.
Taking to her comment section, Funke appreciated her for the message as she revealed that she misses the movie star.
“Mercy my boo. How I miss you so much”.
Mercy isn’t the only one who is proud of Funke. Iyabo Ojo had also expressed how proud she was of the person Funke had become and all she had achieved. She noted how, through the ups and downs of life, Funke kept winning.
Her protege, Tobi Makinde, had described her as a queen and paragon as he noted how she set the pace and constantly surpassed each milestone. He prayed for God to bless her and the works of her hands.
Another protege, Paschaline Alex hailed the movie star as she called her Mama the Mama. Calling her an epitome of excellence, she noted how Funke Akindele is a queen in every sense of the word. She prayed for more strength, wisdom, and guidance for her.
Eniola Badmus prayed that her new age be filled with joy and blessings and that God continue to guide and protect her.
