“Why a lot of women go for body enhancement” – Radio presenter Lolo1 reveals (Video)

Nigerian radio presenter and actor Omotunde Adebowale David popularly known as Lolo 1 has revealed why a lot of women go for body enhancement.

Speaking on her podcast with comedian Ogbolor, Say My Piece Podcast, Lolo1 stated that it has become normal for ladies to go under the knife. She admitted that if she could have afforded surgery fees, she would have gone under the knife to reduce her breasts. The single mother of one recounted how she was harassed while growing up over her boob size as she had bigger boobs than her peers. According to her, this brought her so much negative attention and got her sexualized.

Lolo1 asserted that many women who do body modification feel insecure and are facing trauma. She also admitted that men play a huge factor while women go under the knife.

“Whether you like it or not, it has become a norm; we are talking Body Enhancement. If I could have afforded it, I would have done breast reduction when I was younger because I had more boobs than girls my age at that time, and I didn’t see it as a symbol. Growing up, I got a lot of negative attention for it. Do you know how long I have been sexualized?

I can tell you that many of the women who do body modification feel insecure.

When you say a woman is insecure, it is always a response to some kind of trauma. The major part is men make you feel that way”.

Months back, Daddy Freeze had shared his thoughts on Brazilian Butt Lift popularly known as BBL. He shared a photo of a camel, stating that the picture was the perfect description of what BBL looked like to him. He stated that besides it being risky and people dying, he doesn’t see anything to gain from it.

Similarly, Veteran actor, Kanayo Kanayo condemned BBL ladies as he revealed why it isn’t profitable to them in the long run. Kanayo questioned why husbands weren’t sponsoring their wives to surgically enhance their bodies, as he described the surgical procedure as a Secondary school relationship, noting how many of such ladies don’t end up married.

Popular Dr Aproko had also dished out advice towards girls who are intending to embark on BBL surgeries, touching on the effects of BBL. He revealed that a lot of girls go into BBL surgeries very blindly, forgetting that it is one of the most dangerous forms of surgery.

Nigerian rapper Erigga, while coming for ladies who went for BBL surgeries, suggested that they do it solely to steal men’s gazes.
