Algeria’s President Abdelmadjid Tebboune Re-Elected With Landslide Victory

Incumbent President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has been re-elected as the leader of Algeria, securing an impressive 94.7 percent of the vote.

According to the Algerian National Independent Election Authority (ANIE), a total of 5,630,000 voters cast their ballots, with 5,320,000 voting in favour of Tebboune.

ANIE head Mohamed Charfi announced the results, confirming Tebboune’s landslide victory.

“Of 5,630,000 voters recorded, 5,320,000 voted for the unbiased candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune, accounting for 94.65 p.c” of Saturday’s vote, Charfi informed reporters within the capital Algiers.
