BREAKING: Reprieve For Ganduje As APC Postpones NEC Meeting

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the postponement of its national caucus and national executive committee (NEC) meetings originally slated for September 11 and 12, 2024.

This was disclosed in a two-paragraph statement signed on Monday by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

The party informed members that new dates for both meetings would be communicated later. The reason for the postponement was not disclosed.

The statement read, “Members of the National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are hereby informed that the National Caucus and National Executive Committee meetings scheduled to be held on September 11 and 12, 2024, respectively, have been postponed.

“New dates for the meetings will be communicated in due course.”

THE WHISTLER reported the caucus meeting was initially scheduled to be held in the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa while the NEC meeting was to take place in the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja.

A replacement for the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, was expected to be announced at the NEC meeting.
