In 2022, Williams appeared on Atlanta as Willie in the episodes “Alligator Man” and “Light Skinned-ed.” The second appearance was the fourth episode of the fourth season and sees Williams starring as Earn’s (Donald Glover) uncle. The episode itself sees Earn’s mother, Gloria, decide she will steal his grandfather from her sister Jeanie because she doesn’t like how they are treating him.

This brings trouble at home with his Aunt Jeanie, his mother Gloria, and their siblings, Pearl (Teresa L. Graves) and Willie (Katt Williams). Atlanta was hugely successful during its four-season run and won several huge awards, including two Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series—Musical or Comedy, a Globe for Glover, and two Primetime Emmy Awards, one for Glover and one for directing, the first time an African American has ever won that award at the Emmys.
