NEDC inspects ongoing, completed projects in Taraba 

The management team of the North East Development Commission (NEDC)  weekend inspected the ongoing and completed projects in Taraba state. 

The  team, which was led by the Managing Director/CEO of the Commission, Alh Mohamed G. Alkali, inspected ongoing projects in  the Institute of Entrepreneurship Skills Acquisition, Innovation, Research, and Digitalization (AESAIRD) at Taraba State University, still under construction,  the reconstructed and rehabilitated Male and Female Wards at General Hospital, Zing, a newly installed solar-powered borehole, and a mass housing project at the College of Education, Zing.

Others projects inspected include the Taraba State Polytechnic mass housing, Wuro Sembe mass housing,  Federal Medical Center Jalingo mass housing and solar street light,  mega school,  construction of NEDC state office in Jalingo,  renovation of NEDC warehouse Jalingo,  mega school Wukari,  mass housing, Federal University Wukari,  Federal Government College and GSS Wukari, respectively. 

Also inspected were the sola borehole, Federal University Wukari and Federal Teaching Hospital Wukari, solar street light, Federal University Wukari and Federal Teaching Hospital Wukari,  ICT Center Federal University Wukari,  Mega School Wukari,  Mega School Baissa Town, Sola borehole Gidan/ Gida Sabo Tukura, Mass housing,  Federal Polytechnic Bali, ICT Center Federal Polytechnic Bali ongoing,  Solar street light GDSS Bali and Solar borehole General Hospital Bali ongoing. 

In the same vein, Mohammed Alkali while assessing the aftermath of the recent flood that washed away a major bridge connecting Taraba North to the South, lamented that the North East region is the most affected by climate change.
