Breaking: Tinubu returns from 2-week working leave

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Saturday returned to Abuja after a two-week working leave in the United Kingdom (UK).

The president arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at about 7:20pm.

He was, on arrival, received by top government officials.

The president on October 2, 2024, commenced a two-week working leave.

His Special Adviser on Information and Strategy Mr Bayo Onanuga said the two-weeks vacation was part of the presidentโ€™s annual leave.

โ€œPresident Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for the United Kingdom to begin a two-week vacation, part of his yearly leave.

โ€œHe will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administrationโ€™s economic reforms.

โ€œHe will return to the country after the leave expires,โ€ he said.
