Warning: Contains spoilers for Dragon Ball Daima episodes #1-#2.After a year of anticipation, Dragon Ball Daima has finally been released. The series premiered on Crunchyroll on October 11 as part of the fall 2024 anime season, and while there still isn’t much that’s known about its story, everything about it has done more and more to show it as being a visual masterpiece that Akira Toriyama undoubtedly put all his heart into making.
The trailers were the best way Dragon Ball Daima built up so much hype, and one thing that’s been noted is that most of the trailers have featured no voice acting, instead relying solely on the visuals, animation, and any accompanying news stories to sell themselves. With the series now out, though, Dragon Ball Daima has finally confirmed some of its principal voice cast for both English and Japanese. Not every voice actor has been announced, but the few that have been announced are plenty worth highlighting, in addition to any who can be assumed to be in the series.
Stephanie Nadolny & Masako Nozawa As Goku (Mini)
The Hero Of Dragon Ball
Actors: Stephanie Nadolny, Kid Goku’s original voice actor, will be voicing Goku (Mini) in Dragon Ball Daima ’s English dub, marking her first return to the franchise in over a decade; Nadolny is also known for voicing K.O. in OK K.O.! Supreme Kai (Mini)’s English voice actor has not been revealed at this time.
Character: Shin, better known as Supreme Kai, is the guardian of the universe who, like the rest of Goku’s friends, was turned into a child by Gomah and Degesu. Shin has a personal stake in the conflict due to Degesu being his younger brother, and because of that, he tags along with Goku on his journey through the Demon Realm.
Yudai Mino As Vegeta (Mini)
Goku’s Eternal Rival
Actor: Due to being turned into a child, Vegeta (Mini) is voiced by Yudai Mino instead of Vegeta’s regular voice actor, Ryo Horikawa. Vegeta (Mini) is Yudai Mino’s first major voice acting role, but he’s previously voiced Creed in Edens Zero, Katsuya in The Fable, and Yuta Miura in World Trigger. Vegeta (Mini)’s English voice actor has not been revealed at this time.
Character: Vegeta (Mini) is the form Vegeta takes after being turned into a child by Gomah and Degesu. While Vegeta (Mini) didn’t make the initial trip to the Demon Realm, Vegeta (Mini) is set to enter the Demon Realm alongside Piccolo (Mini) and Bulma (Mini), so he can be expected to be a major player in the story.

Like several other characters, Pansy’s English voice actor has yet to be confirmed.
Character: Panzy is a young female demon who joins Goku and Supreme Kai’s group at some point in Dragon Ball Daima’s story. Panzy was initially introduced as a mysterious figure called the Masked Majin, so there’s likely a big secret surrounding her identity in-universe, but more information on that likely won’t be revealed until the series is fully underway.
Showtaro Morikubo As Gomah
The King Of The Demon Realm
Actor: Showtaro Morikubo features in the Japanese dub of Dragon Ball Daima as the main villain Gomah. Showtaro Morikubo is best known for voicing Shikamaru in Naruto, Yosuke in Persona 4, Bartolomeo in One Piece, and Akira Otoishi in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable. Yoko Hikasa is best known for voicing Mio in K-On!, Kirigiri in Danganronpa, Diana in Little Witch Academia, and Yoh in the Shaman King reboot. Dr. Arinsu’s English voice actor has not been confirmed at this time.
Character: Dr. Arinsu is another Core Person affiliated with the Demon Realm, with her previously being Dabura’s head scientist while he was alive. Interestingly, Dr. Arinsu is Shin’s previously unmentioned sister, and like with Degesu, the conflict between them will surely be a focal point of the series.
Hiroshi Naka As Neva
The Guardian Of The Demon Realm Dragon Balls
Actor: Hiroshi Naka voices Neva in the Japanese dub of Dragon Ball Daima. Hiroshi Naka is best known for voicing Garp in One Piece, Senshi in Delicious in Dungeon, the Doktor in Hellsing: Ultimate, and Haruki Shirogane in Psycho-Pass 3. Like the other new characters, Neva’s English voice actor is unknown at this time.
Character: Neva is the guardian of the Dragon Balls of the Demon Realm who, because of how hard he made it for demons to get them, is recruited in Gomah’s quest for Earth’s Dragon Balls.
