Controversial media personality Toke Makinwa has dismissed reports surrounding her alleged marriage to longtime friend Farouk Umar.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that videos circulated online indicating that the media personality tied the knot over the weekend.
In the photos, Toke Makinwa could be seen donning a white fitted dress, while her alleged husband, Umar, wore a traditional white ‘Agbada’, complete with a white cap.
The guests were also dressed exquisitely in the event, which seemed to be close-knit.
Reacting to the reports, Toke in a video shared on her Instagram captioned the video from the event as “Thanksgiving service.”
The movie star, who’s currently gearing up for her 40th birthday, held a thanksgiving service to appreciate God for not judging her the way the world judged her.
According to the entertainer, only God saw her through her divorce when she thought she was going to die.
She said, “Thank you for not looking at me or judging me the way the world judge me. You saw me through a divorce when I thought I was going to die”.
In another post, Toke wrote: “Today I testify of His goodness. Happy TM Thanksgiving day… Counting down to my birthday.”
