Terrifier 3 Box Office Passes Two Major Milestones As It More Than Triples The Gross Of Part 2

Terrifier 3 has passed a domestic milestone as its grosses continue to inflate. The gory slasher sequel follows Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton) as he returns to continue his murderous rampage during the Christmas season five years after the previous movie, with survivors Sienna Shaw (Laurn LaVera) and her brother Jonathan (Elliott Fullam) still in his sights. The Terrifier 3 box office run kicked off with an $18.9 million opening weekend that saw the movie take No. 1 over the holdover comic book movie Joker: Folie à Deux in a surprise upset.




Per Deadline, as of Saturday morning, Terrifier 3 is projected to earn a 3-day total of $4.5 million during its third weekend at the domestic box office, bringing its cumulative domestic total to $44.3 million. This makes it the 35th movie to pass the $40 million domestic milestone in 2024. This news comes during the same weekend that it has passed the $50 million milestone worldwide, a total that more than triples the $15.7 million worldwide gross of the entire run of 2022’s Terrifier 2.
