Fire Incident Shuts Down Enyimba FM, Two Other Radio Stations

A devastating fire attack on Saturday evening has led to the temporary closure of three prominent radio stations in Aba, Enyimba 94.3FM, Legend 98.3FM, and Rose 101.9FM.

According to a press release on Sunday, by the Management Enyimba TV and Radio Ltd, The fire began around 9:30 p.m., threatening to engulf the radio stations and was quickly put out by the swift action of community members and bystanders.

โ€œWe are eternally grateful for the swift response and assistance from our community, which helped bring the fire under control. Most importantly, we are relieved to report that all staff members are safe and unharmedโ€, the release stated.

As a safety precaution, management has โ€œtemporarily shut down operations across all three stationsโ€. According to them, this pause will allow them to โ€œassess the damage and ensure safety measures are in placeโ€.
