INEC Declares Aiyedatiwa Winner Of Ondo Guber Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa winner of Saturday’s controversial gubernatorial election in Ondo State.

The declaration was made on Sunday by Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi Durotimi from the Federal University of Technology, Lokoja, who is the returning officer, after announcing full results from all the 18 local government areas of the state.

Aiyedatiwa, who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was declared the winner of the poll having pulled a total number of 366,781 votes to defeat the standard bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Agboola Ajayi, who scored total 117,845 votes.
