“It’s a red flag to refer to your pastor as ‘My Daddy’, ‘My Spiritual father'” – BBNaija Leo DaSilva says; netizens disagree

Big Brother Naija reality star Leo DaSilva has slammed Christians who refer to their pastors as their daddies, Spiritual fathers, and all.

Taking to the micro-blogging platform Twitter, now known as X, he stated that it is a red flag when one describes their pastor in such a way.

“My Daddy, ‘My Spiritual Daddy,’ ‘my father in the Lord’s to describe your pastor is a red flag.”

In another tweet, he clarified that going to Theology school for 2 years wasn’t to become a pastor but to understand the word of God even more. He stated that if one claims to love God, one will try to learn about God yourself. He compared it to loving someone you don’t know.

“I went to theology school for 2 years, not because I want to become a pastor but to understand the word of God even more.
If you claim to love God, you will try to learn about God yourself.
It’s like saying you love someone you don’t even know.
Don’t be a sheep to everything”.
