Prime Video’s highly anticipated anthology series finally premiered, but Secret Level‘s first season isn’t over yet, with more episodes still to come. The video game show features a variety of short stories from numerous IPs, helping flesh out their lore while offering some fresh takes on each franchise. Naturally, some episodes shine more than others, but seeing so many interesting characters and environments being adapted into a televised format has been a breath of fresh air. Given they share the same creators, Secret Level‘s connections to Netflix’s Love, Death & Robots are clear to see, albeit Prime Video’s anthology series has less diverse animation styles. Still, the first eight episodes have been predominantly good, with a few stand-out performers. The buzz about Warhammer 40,000‘s stunning visuals alongside the fresh take on Pac-Man has already gotten the internet talking, but there are still some big games to feature in Secret Level. As a result, viewers will naturally be curious about how many episodes are left and when they will arrive, which the show has confirmed.


How Many Episodes Are In Secret Level Season 1

Season 1 Will Contain A Total Of 15 Episodes

With eight episodes already available to watch, Secret Level still has seven episodes to come, taking season 1’s total count to 15. Each one focuses on a completely different franchise, giving plenty of games a chance to flourish; however, the “Playtime” episode will be a mash-up of several PlayStation IPs, which will debut with the next batch. So far, Secret Level has released episodes for Dungeons & Dragons, Sifu, New World: Aeternum, Unreal Tournament, Warhammer 40,000, Pac-Man, Crossfire, and Armored Core. While most of these episodes are combat-orientated, some focus more on the characters or world-building instead.

Thankfully, the remaining episodes of Secret Level season 1 will drop on December 17, just one week after the first set. Given every episode so far has been under 20 minutes, releasing the season in two batches rather than weekly or even daily episodes makes plenty of sense and gives viewers more freedom in terms of how they want to watch the show. Some people may choose to watch all 15 at once after they are all released, others may prefer to watch them one batch at a time, while certain viewers may only watch the franchises they’re interested in.
