Fast & Furious 11’s Long-Awaited Reunion Will Finally Complete A Storyline 4 Years In The Making

The Fast & Furious franchise will almost certainly be ending with Fast 11, and the film will likely be a huge celebration of all the sequels that came before it. Once it has resolved the major cliffhanger ending of Fast X, the upcoming sequel will follow Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his friends as they’re hunted down by Dante Reyes (Jason Momoa), the son of Fast Five‘s villain Hernan Reyes. This blood feud is easily the most interesting part of Fast X, and it’s the perfect subplot for the Fast & Furious series to use as its grand finale.

Fast & Furious has been through many phases throughout the turbulent franchise, starting out with grounded thrillers and ultimately becoming a much bolder, brasher, and more expensive series of huge stunts and melodramatic characters. But throughout it all, the characters have always been the focus of this story. The Fast & Furious cast has changed repeatedly over the years, but this final installment is the perfect opportunity for all these characters (two in particular) to come together and resolve any loose threads that remain from previous movies.

Undoubtedly, the most exciting reunion that’s in the cards for Fast & Furious 11 is between Han (Sung Kang) and Gisele (Gal Gadot), who were both presumed dead before making their shocking returns in F9 and Fast X respectively. Their reunion is particularly exciting given the romantic history between these characters, which is among the few compelling romances of the series. However, the pair haven’t seen each other since Gisele’s “death” at the end of Fast & Furious 6, when she was seemingly killed during an altercation on an airplane runway.

The culmination of Han and Gisele’s storyline is something that’s been on the horizon ever since the former returned in F9, so the final Fast & Furious movie has the perfect opportunity to tie everything together in a neat bow after the somewhat meandering storylines in the previous movies. Regarding his tense dynamic with Deckard, it’s unlikely that his character would turn against somebody who is now a close associate of Dom’s, so it’s more likely that Han’s “justice” will simply be finding happiness with the woman he loves.
