Tinubu Commissions Projects In Enugu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Saturday, commissioned multiple projects executed by Gov Peter Mbah of Enugu State.

THE WHISTLER reports that Saturday’s visit by the president was his first official visit, as Nigerian president, to Enugu.

Top dignitaries on the president’s entourage included the Abia State Governor, Mr Alex Otti; the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Benjamin Kalu, and the Minister of Works, Engr Dave Umahi.

He arrived at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, in the afternoon from where he proceeded to various locations within the state capital to perform his official assignments.

Some of the projects commissioned by the president include smart green schools, rural roads and 150 patrol vehicles fitted with AI-embedded surveillance cameras, and equipped Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres out of the 260 under construction across the 260 wards in the state.

Others are the completed Enugu International Conference Centre, 90 completed urban roads in Enugu City, as well as the state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre..
