Damiola, the daughter of renowned Juju musician, King Sunny Ade, has taken to social media to make a very distressing call concerning her father’s whereabouts.
eelive.ng reports that the singer’s daughter, Damilola Adeniyi, in a series of Instagram posts on Monday, April 28, 2025, raised concerns over the whereabouts and well-being of her father.
Damilola in the post that has gone viral alleged that the musician may be under undue influence and no longer in full control of his finances, suggesting that individuals close to her father, including his manager, could be involved.
She further appealed to the relevant authorities to intervene and investigate the situation.
She wrote, “I want the authorities to step in. I believe there is financial mismanagement happening, and my father’s welfare is at stake.”
As of the time of filing this report, neither King Sunny Ade nor his management team has issued an official statement regarding Damilola’s claims.
In other news, Charles Bamidele Adesanmi, one of the longest Keyboardist of Nigeria’s music Legend, King Sunny Ade was recently found in Texas driving Uber for survival.
The situation of Adesanmi, renowned to have traveled around the world, played in several shows and concerts came to light after an encounter with Nigerian journalist, George Otumu.
According to the journalist, Charles, now stays in Texas where he allegedly picks passengers on a door-to-door basis in a 12-hour shift to keep his economic empowerment in place.
Speaking to Otumu, the former Keyboardist noted that, despite having travelled the world with King Sunny Ade, he now drive Uber in America to feed.
He said: “You may look me up in Google since I was King Sunny Ade’s longest keyboardist ever. I have traveled, around the world, played shows with the Juju Music Icon. I am just driving this UBER to keep body and soul together.”
