The Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, Korapay and Zilox Homes have emerged winners of the prestigious awards organized by NEDCOMOAKS Group Limited.
The awards were presented to over 30 recipients for their exceptional performance and contribution to the development of Nigeria’s housing and real estate sector.
NEDCOMOAKS Group Limited which has birthed over 20 companies presented the awards at the Gala and Award Night of the 2025 Unleash for Takeover 3.0 programme held in Lagos, Nigeria.
The Group Managing Director of the conglomerate, Dr. Kennedy Okonkwo said at the award presentation that NECOMOAKS vision is to reward excellence across different sectors, particularly real estate.
“The award is a proof of courage leading to the rise of a new generation leaders. This Gala Night is that moment to pause to honour and to reflect.
“We are not only rewarding success but reward impact. To shine light on those who redefined excellence and who continue to shape the future of Nigeria and Africa,” Okonkwo said.
The Chief Executive Officer of NEDCOMOAKs Group, Ichechi Okonkwo, said the awardees were critical in the transformation of the economy, including the real estate sector.
She said the government has played a critical role in enabling the sector with regulations and infrastructure development.
The event was attended by government officials, including the Minister of Youth Development, Olawande; Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Job Creation and MSMEs, Dr. Temitola Adekunle Johnson and the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Tourism, Arts, & Culture, Mr. Idris Aregbe.
Other attendees were the lawmakers representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson and Member Lagos State House of Assembly Hon. Desmond Elliot.
The CEO PiggyVest, Somtochukwu Ifezue; MD, KoraPay, Dickson Nsofor; the CEO of Propati Radar Ltd & Pradin Ltd; COO, Capital Gardens, Oyelola Saliu, Among other industry experts were at the two-day event.
The awards were in 11 categories.
The Transformation Award winner was the Minister of Youth Development.
The organisers presented the award to the minister for his “role in youth development and transformation of the ministry.”
The Real Estate Trailblazer of the Year award winners were Yemi Idowu; Director General and CEO of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), Charles Odii and Idris Aregbe.
