The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled its revised 2027 election timetable, announcing fresh dates for the sale of forms, screening of aspirants, party primaries and appeals ahead of the general elections.
The ruling party made the announcement in a notice signed by National Organising Secretary Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu and confirmed by National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka.

According to the party, the updated schedule aligns with the 1999 Constitution, the Electoral Act 2026 and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) timetable for the 2027 elections.
The APC said the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms began on April 25 and will close on May 2, 2026.
Submission of completed forms has been fixed for May 4, 2026, while screening of aspirants will hold from May 6 to May 9.
The screening exercise will cover aspirants for State Houses of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, governorship and the presidency.
Appeals for House of Assembly and House of Representatives aspirants are scheduled for May 12 to May 13.
The party added that APC primaries will start on May 15, 2026, beginning with the House of Representatives.
Other primaries for Senate, State Houses of Assembly, governorship and presidential tickets will follow, with all exercises ending on May 23, 2026.
On fees, House of Assembly aspirants are to pay ₦6 million, House of Representatives ₦10 million, Senate ₦20 million, governorship ₦50 million, while presidential aspirants will pay ₦100 million in total.
The APC also said women, youths and persons with disabilities will enjoy discounts, paying only the Expression of Interest fee and half of the Nomination fee.
Payments are to be made through designated party accounts in Union Bank, UBA and Zenith Bank.
