A Defense Ministry civilian contractor was killed and another wounded in a Hezbollah explosive drone attack in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, the IDF announced.
The contractor, identified as Amer Hujirat, 44, from the northern Arab town of Shfaram,
was operating heavy engineering machinery in the Aitaroun area near Bint Jbeil when the drone struck. Hezbollah later claimed responsibility, saying it targeted an Israeli bulldozer with an explosive-laden drone.
According to Ziv Hospital in Tzfas, another wounded contractor — the son of the victim and employed by the same Defense Ministry contractor company — suffered light shrapnel injuries.
